8x8, a regionally leading provider of integrated cloud phone, meeting, collaboration and contact centre as a service solutions has announced the appointment of Deane Jessep as the company’s first ever New Zealand Regional Manager.
Based in Auckland, Jessep will be responsible for leading 8x8’s sales growth and business expansion in New Zealand while overseeing all aspects of management, including channel partner development, distribution strategy and revenue growth.
Jessep has more than 21 years’ experience working in the ICT industry where he has held senior executive, leadership and delivery roles for a range of vendors and systems integrators.
He joins 8x8 from UCFX, a digital transformation and customer experience consulting company which he founded and where he held a variety of roles, including professional consulting and alliance management.
Most recently, he was the company’s Practice Manager where he was responsible for leading the development of innovative customer and digital experience solutions in the unified communications and cloud infrastructure space.
Prior, Jessep was New Zealand Country Manager for Polycom where he was responsible for business management with key accounts, service providers, resellers and distributors.
More than half of Jessep's career in ICT has been spent focused on Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and related disciplines such as Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) and digital transformation.
In addition, 8x8 has announced that Pablo Munoz has joined the company as ANZ Field Communications Executive. Based in Sydney, Munoz is tasked with increasing brand awareness, lead generation and channel enablement for both New Zealand and Australia.
Munoz joins 8x8 following three years as a digital producer at Ondicom, one of Australia’s leading digital agencies focused on real estate. He was previously Marketing Manager at IPL Group and a marketing executive with Ingram Micro.
