Axis unveils hybrid cloud platform for adaptable security solutions

Axis Communications, an industry provider of in network video, recently unveiled Axis Cloud Connect, an open hybrid cloud platform that provides clients with increasingly secure, adaptable, and scalable security solutions. The platform, used in conjunction with Axis devices, enables a host of managed services for system and device management, cybersecurity, video and data delivery.

Cloud connectivity is a growing trend in the video surveillance market, driven by the desire for remote access, data-centric insights, and scalability. Novaira Insights' report entitled Cloud Trends in Video Surveillance – 2023 edition revealed that in the United States and Canada, cloud-connected cameras are experiencing growth at a rate of over 80% annually.
