Introducing Spark Cloud Phone, the calling platform you didn’t know you needed
Cisco’s Broadsoft is teaming up with New Zealand’s very own Spark to rollout Spark Cloud Phone, making Spark the first service provider in the country to launch a solution at scale on the BroadCloud platform.
For small and medium business throughout New Zealand, the new technology will provide users with a SaaS service delivery platform paired with a flexible OPEX service delivery model.
Powered by the BroadCloud calling platform, the Spark Cloud Phone will provide users with a complete suite of unified communications (UC) services, including instant messaging and presence (IM&P), hosted voice, mobile client support, desktop and file sharing, video and voice conferencing and virtual meeting rooms.
Managing director of Worldwide Sales for Cisco Cloud Calling, Jonathan Reid says the company is very pleased to be working with Spark in New Zealand to bring their cloud UC offering to market on BroadCloud.

BroadSoft introduced the platform to the Australian market last year in a similar deal with Optus Loop, the only other service provider using the BroadCloud platform in Australia and New Zealand.
BroadSoft first unveiled BroadCloud back in October 2010.
