Maxnet dates trusted cloud service
Mon, 28th Jun 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Maxnet CEO John Hanna  has given a solid release date for the company’s trusted cloud solution.

Back in April, Hanna said that Maxnet was planning to offer its cloud service to end users and would be “white labelling it through our extensive wholesale and reseller channel.”

He added, “Our vision is to deliver true end-to-end virtualisation. We believe that over the next two to three years you’re going to see some of the traditional systems integrators really challenged with the shift that virtual desktop is going to drive.”

Speaking last week, Hanna gave an update on the cloud’s launch plans. “We forecast that would be mid-calendar Q3 and we currently have a launch date of September 1st. That’s on track as of today but there are a lot of people doing a lot of work,” he said.

Hanna also said that the company was verging on announcing a new communications deal.
