Kiwi payment and transaction provider SmartPay has received Australian certification for its PAX S90 and S80 EFTPOS terminals, following the approval of the SP30 terminal earlier this year.

The company has begun deploying the devices through its direct and dealer channels, and is expecting big growth in the next 12 months.

Andrew Donaldson, CEO fo SmartPay, says the certification is ‘a huge step forward'.

"The growth in our Australian business proves the value of diversifying across the Tasman,” Donaldson says.

"New Zealand sales are expected to increase in the coming months as another 25,000 terminals will need to be upgraded. These contracts, and our renewable rental base, have set the company up for its 2012 result.
