The Top 9 communications tools for Salesforce

22 Nov 16

Our team attended last month’s Salesforce Dreamforce event in San Francisco. We visited each stand at the exhibition and collated the top tools, add-ons and Apps for Salesforce users.

Here are our picks in order of the top Salesforce communication apps and tools from this year's event. The winners are:

#1: eSignLive - Electronic signature collection

Give customers a modern signing experience and close deals faster with eSignLive for Salesforce. This pre-integrated app enables e-signature functionality in Salesforce with no IT effort. With eSignLive, it's easy to prepare and send documents for e-signature. The dashboard tracks e-signature transactions and completed documents are automatically archived in Salesforce.

Signers do not need an account to e-sign from anywhere, any time, on any device. Secure and compliant, eSignLive stores Australian data in-country on local data centres. For organisations that need to add e-signing capabilities to custom workflows in Salesforce, eSignLive offers an APEX SDK for Salesforce and Force.com developers.

#2: Conversica

The Conversica automated sales assistant is Artificial Intelligence-based software that engages potential customers in natural, two-way human conversations. It continues to engage and nurture them until they either express interest or specifically opt-out – which could be in one day, a few months or even a year.

The automated assistant tirelessly reaches out to every single lead, as many times and over as long a timespan as is required. It is always persistent, always polite, never has a bad day or gets sick, and – best of all – hands over customers at the very time they are ready to engage so your salespeople can focus on selling and closing deals instead of chasing down leads.

#3: Talkdesk

Talkdesk for Salesforce adds comprehensive contact centre functionality to the Salesforce platform, including advanced routing, real-time reporting and powerful automations. From provisioning users, to agent interactions and native reporting, there is no need to leave the Salesforce environment. Deploy in weeks, not months with Talkdesk’s self-service configuration.

Provide both phone and SMS support directly within Salesforce and manage work items across channels by leveraging a Salesforce Omni-Channel integration. Gain a deeper understanding of performance by viewing native real-time reporting and creating customised historical reports using prebuilt templates.

Talkdesk for Salesforce empowers you to have more personalised, real-time conversations with prospects and customers.

#4: NewVoiceMedia’s ContactWorld

NewVoiceMedia’s ContactWorld solution is a multi-tenant Cloud Contact Centre and Inside Sales Platform that enables sales and service reps to have more successful conversations with their customers. Together, they helped one million people complete their U.S. taxes online. Also at the event, Glance Cobrowse was featured in Saleforce’s Communications & Media booth, demonstrated by Deloitte as part of their CloudMix offering, and mentioned in several sessions by SaaS providers. Lastly, Cobrowse is used by CVCheck, a leading provider of screening and verification services based in Australia.

#7: Tact

Tact, featuring TactBot – the human-friendly sales assistant, is a mobile sales experience platform. A three-time winner of Salesforce App Demo Jam, Tact reimagines selling by unifying Salesforce and everyday sales tools into a frictionless mobile experience. Tact drives sales team productivity through:

* Integrating email, calendar, phone, contacts, map, and business card scanning in a powerful mobile app that optimises sales flow
