Wiise unveils Warehouse OnTime for real-time warehouse management
Wed, 22nd Nov 2023

Wiise, the fastest-growing cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform, has unveiled a new mobile-first warehouse management solution called Warehouse OnTime. This innovation aims to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in managing their inventories and warehouse activities with increased precision and in real-time.

This announcement comes as Australia and New Zealand's supply chain continues to recover from the impacts of the pandemic, and businesses face increasing costs and unprecedented competition for warehouse space. The Wiise OnTime app intends to provide inventory-based businesses with the opportunity to modernise operations and better meet customer delivery demands, enabling them to compete more effectively with larger industry players.

Available for both iOS and Android devices as well as hardware scanners, the Warehouse OnTime application digitises and automates warehouse tasks. This end-to-end digitisation process eliminates paperwork and repetitive data entry, which often lead to issues such as mis-picks, delays, and errors. The application allows warehouse staff to efficiently manage stock, from receiving and selecting goods, to inventory adjustments and even full inventory audits, all from their own device.

Charlie Wood, Wiise CEO, has expressed his excitement in bringing Warehouse OnTime to market, stating it's a significant step in Wiise's commitment to providing innovative digital solutions to customers. Wood said, "The application will help smaller businesses compete in increasingly challenging times; prior to today, smart solutions were only accessible to the largest enterprises."

Warehouse OnTime aims to improve accuracy and reduce the time spent in processing orders, managing inventory, and onboarding staff. The application is particularly beneficial for industries such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical or automotive manufacturing and distribution that need to track serials, lots, and batches, which is critical for recalls, waste reduction, and meeting ESG requirements.

Dunya Lindsey, Wiise's Chief Product Officer, commented, "Many businesses still use pen and paper for critical tasks like picking, shipping, and stocktakes because introducing IoT and robotics can be expensive. These paper-based processes often lead to mistakes that can result in wasted stock or unfulfilled sales due to under-buying or delayed orders. Warehouse OnTime is an easy way for businesses to go digital and get an instant, accurate view of warehouse activities."

This launch follows several significant milestones at Wiise, including a year of impressive growth with revenue tripling over the past two years, a 60% year-on-year growth in staff to over 40, and a $16 million commitment from KPMG Australia to fuel further expansion in New Zealand.

In addition, Wiise recently introduced a new partner programme with six partners achieving Elite status. The initiative, designed to foster growth within the ERP space, continues to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers while also attracting new partners across New Zealand and other markets.
